This outstanding opportunity allows technically-minded engineers to broaden their system engineering skills and application knowledge, while gaining sales and marketing experience. This position is for a networking software engineer with in depth Ethernet Switch/Controller product development knowledge.

The successful candidate acts as consultants and provide deep dive technical support to customers in switch product development with backend support from internal development. Significant contribution also result when the AE acts as a product evangelist, program/project manager, and prepare collateral material as needed to capture methods and demonstrate their results.  An ideal candidate would enjoy being an expert a broad range of topics, solving a wide variety of problems, be creative, and generally find reward in making things work.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

1、Provide deep dive technical support to customers in switch product development; from SDK driver to Protocol/Stack, from architecture/design review to bring-up, validation and production.

2、Providing technical training, demo, consultation, and hands-on assistance to developers in areas of architect, technologies, code development, testing and tuning

3、As system and technology expert, author technical papers and training courses

4、Provide feedback and aid product definition of next generation products

Qualifications

1、Expert level development experience in Switch/LAN driver/SDK, L2/L3 stack in switch/router, Ethernet, network communications etc.

2、Network processor microcoding and debugging

3、Diagnose and triage functionality and/or performance issues. Identification and isolation of problems to application, network stack, low level API, or drivers.

4、Experience in multiple Network technologies, project implementation, network maintenance, support, trouble resolution, and root cause analysis.

5、Support experience to Telecom, data center, OEM, Enterprise system designers/developers during design-in product life cycle.

6、Experience in development and documentation activities for customer applications and internal API's.

7、Knowledgeable in Datacenter and Cloud infrastructures and operations, Virtualization, low latency networking

8、Hands on experience with lab equipment as TestCenter/IXIA, high speed scope, etc.

9、Experience in Ethernet Switch/Controller board development.

10、5 years experience in Internet/WAN/MAN/LAN Network product engineering

11、3 years experience in design, development, and implementation and maintenance of Enterprise level Network solutions

12、3 years experience in Router, Switch and IP configuration/management

13、Fluent and effective communication, presentation and documentation skills, both - written and verbal

14、Self-motivated, multi-task effective, ability to work independently and also in teams

15、Able to travel
