PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop automation systems based on the methodology or approach and the user requirements from the Advanced Services Consulting team, which will help to improve the efficiency and save the cost for the team. The automation systems will be multi-user environment; data security must be taken into consideration as well as code efficiency during the design and development process. The candidate must have a good understanding on the user requirements, providing the best balance of feature complexity and easy-of-use in User Interface design.

• Uses professional expertise and knowledge to plan, design, and develop automation systems for Advanced Services Consulting team based on user requirements.
• Design and implement data backup architecture for securing the data and prevent data loss.
• Assists in advising best approach to address requirements.
• Working with the team to review and evaluate approaches and methodologies and assists in new feature implementation.
• Reviews and evaluates system performance and resolve the issues once found in the system.
• Documents and maintains user guide for the system.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience of development on Web-based system.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IP network monitoring/management system.
• Familiar with PHP/Python/Ruby/PERL and Java-script programing language and integration with MySQL database.
• Familiar with UNIX/Linux operating system.
• In-depth knowledge of Subversion software version control system.
• Expert communication and interpersonal skills.
• Juniper product certifications (JNCIS-SP) or industry equivalent strongly desired.
