Job Summary:
- Customer support engineer (CSE) is responsible for providing remote technical support to CISCO customers in Great China via phone/email. Middle/night shifts is required due to we need to provide 7*24 hour support for customer.
- The qualified candidates must have product level knowledge and troubleshooting skill on CISCO NX-OS devices.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Provide remote technical support for Cisco Customer in Great China for Data Center Switching area;
- Take middle/night shift for 7*24 hour support;
- Communicate and collaborate with cross function teams to drive both Customer and Cisco Success;
- Anxious to learn new technologies and concepts.
Requirement:
1. The ability to perform technical L1, L2 and L3 troubleshooting to determine root cause of software/hardware failure issues;
2. Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals is absolutely required. Knowledge of and experience with routing/switching protocols;
3. In-depth/hands-on experience and knowledge of Nexus Product Family, DCI technologies;
4. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, the ability to handle critical customer issues in crisis situations, and the ability to work under pressure are all required;
5. Demonstrated ability to work in a team;
6. Good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English;
7. Ability to work well under pressure and handle confrontation when necessary;
8. Typically requires BS in CS or EE or equivalent plus 2 years' Networking related experience. CCNA/CCNP/CCIE desired.
