Basic requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Minimum of 6 year of experience in programming Java and/or C.
Demonstrated ability to debug/analyze bottlenecks in Linux environment and build improvements to increase performance, efficiency, scalability and stability of system components of a scalable network system
In-depth understanding of Linux/FreeBSD like system and Internals.
In-depth understanding of computer architecture such as Intel Architecture.
In-depth understanding of packet processing, TCP/IP and Linux networking internals.
Fluent English reading, writing and speaking skills

Added Advantage:

Experience with SDN controllers (e.g. OpenDaylight) and with the open source community.
Understanding of SDN/NFV and solid working knowledge of OpenvSwitch, OVSDB, Openflow, and networking tunneling protocols (e.g. VxLAN, NVGRE).
Experience in OS Networking subsystem and network and system performance optimizations.
Proficiency in networking protocol and device architectures (NICs, routers, switches, virtual switches, network devices like load balancer, NAT, firewall, etc.).
Exposure to virtualization and cloud technologies such as Openstack, virtual networking, distributed programming, Linux containers, and SDN/NFV.
